orange amber, square, smooth base, 10 1/16"H, applied sloping
collar with ring, about mint (scattered exterior wear and some
light, spotty exterior haze). American, C. 1875.
Typically rather plain and boring, this heavily whittled Burlington,
Vermont bitters is instead an exciting example with lots of character
and clear, brilliant color.
