ITEM 4087. COLOGNE BOTTLE, opalescent
robin's egg blue, corset-waisted, smooth base, 4 3/8"H,
tooled mouth, a mint bottle exhibiting some minor exterior wear.
American, probably blown at the Boston and Sandwich Glass Works,
Sandwich, MA, 1860-1888, extremely rare.
If you are a cologne collector who thought you had it all this
wildly colored corset-waisted beauty is sure to make your head
spin. I understand that Bob and Muriel Heath had a similar example
on display at the Sandwich Museum but that is to our knowledge
the only other example.
