ITEM 3867. UTILITY CYLINDER, olive green, two-piece mold cylinder, tubular pontil scar, 4 1/8"H x 2 3/8"D, sheared and fire polished mouth, mint. Blown at a New England Glass Works, 1830-1850.

It is this ink's heavily mottled surface texture that indicates it may have been the first bottle blown in a cold mold one snowy morning in Keene, NH or Coventry, CT.
