GOLDEN YELLOW AMBER KIMBALL'S JAUNDICE BITTERS

ITEM 3853. "KIMBALL'S / JAUNDICE - BITTERS - TROY, N. H.", (Ring# K42), golden yellow amber, rectangular, iron pontil scar, 7"H x 2 3/4"W x 1 13/16"D, applied sloping collar, about mint (small, shallow flake on the letter "D" in "JAUNDICE"). Blown at a Stoddard Glass Works, Stoddard, NH, C. 1850, scarce, ex. David and Peggy Ellis collection.

More yellow than amber, this crude and pebbly Kimball's Jaundice Bitters is a breathtaking example that was at one time included in the noted collection of David and Peggy Ellis.
