ITEM 3780. UMBRELLA INK, clear yellow
olive, octagonal, pontil scar, 2 5/8"H x 2 3/8"D, inwardly
rolled mouth, mint. American, 1840-1860, scarce color.
This ink is not only light as a feather but also incredibly crude
and evenly colored from top to bottom. The bottle sat proudly
in our window for many years before selling it to a friend in
March of 2000 when we parted with our umbrella ink collection.
It is a pleasure to offer it again!
