NEW
YORK STATE FREEBLOWN STORAGE JAR - MINT
ITEM 3702. FREEBLOWN STORAGE JAR, aquamarine,
cylindrical, tubular pontil scar, 7 7/8"H x 5 ½"D,
delicately flared mouth, a mint jar exhibiting the expected light
usage wear. American, 1830-1850.
This bold and gutsy jar is quite likely the product of a New
York State Glass House and it is a particularly well-formed example
that is obviously the work of a master gaffer.
