FREEBLOWN AQUAMARINE STORAGE JAR
ITEM 3626. FREEBLOWN STORAGE JAR, aquamarine,
cylindrical, pontil scar, 9 3/4"H x 4 ½"D, delicately
flared mouth, a mint jar exhibiting the expected light usage
wear. Blown at a Midwestern Glass House, 1820-1840.
It is this jar's angular form, delicate lip treatment and glass
color/texture that make it a representative example of fine Midwestern
Glass.
