STRAWBERRY PUCE MASTER INK WITH POUR SPOUT - RARE COLOR

ITEM 3479. MASTER INK BOTTLE, strawberry puce, cylindrical, early smooth base, 7 11/16"H x 2 9/16"D, applied sloping collar with hand tooled pour spout, a mint bottle with several crazing lines in the base. American, C. 1870, rare color.

It is this bottle's rich color and highly whittled surface that make it a "must-have" for the advanced collector of master inks.
