BRIGHT
MOSS GREEN UMBRELLA INK
ITEM 3016. UMBRELLA INK, bright moss
green, octagonal, pontil scar, 2 1/2"H x 2 1/8"D, inwardly
folded mouth, dug and lightly cleaned retaining some minor ground
wear. American, 1830-1850.
This neatly executed umbrella ink is blown in an unusual shade
of moss green bottle glass. The bottle was dug in the Baltimore
area and most likely blown there as well.
