by Ring), bluish aquamarine, oval, tubular pontil scar, 10 1/8"H
x 3 1/2"W x 2 1/4"D, applied sloping collar, a mint
bottle with some label wear and staining. American, C. 1850,
Though it is not unique, we know of only one other example of
this extremely rare labeled Stonington, Connecticut bitters.
The bottle was quite likely blown at the nearby New London Glass
Works and it is distinguished by an indented panel that houses
the front label.
