ITEM 2576. "D. A. KNOWLTON / SARATOGA. / N. Y.", (Tucker# E-5:a), forest/olive green, high-shouldered cylinder, smooth base, quart, applied sloping collar with ring, mint. Saratoga Mountain Glass Works, Saratoga, NY, 1855-1865, scarce.

This superb high shouldered Mountain Glass quart is as fine an example as one could hope to find with bubbles on top of bubbles and a delightfully crude double collared mouth that tops the piece to perfection.
