"WHITNEY GLASS WORKS (ON BASE)" WITH ORIGINAL "GREENE & GLADDING / PALE SHERRY" LABEL, bright orange amber, three-piece mold cylinder, smooth base, 11 3/16"H x 2 7/8"D, applied sloping collar with ring, the mint bottle retains some contents residue - the original label exhibits some paper loss and darkening as shown. This truly fine cylindrical whiskey retains a period Greene and Gladding label in excellent condition. The bottle itself is cruder than most Whitney cylinders, exhibiting numerous bubbles and beautiful whittling.
