BEAUTIFUL WILLINGTON, CT GII-62 TURKEY NECK EAGLE FLASK - GREAT COLOR!

ITEM 10259. "LIBERTY" / EAGLE - "WILLINGTON / GLASS, CO / WEST, WILLINGTON / CONN" HISTORICAL FLASKS, (McK# GII-62), bright forest/olive green, smooth base, pint, applied sloping collar, about mint (pinhead-sized base edge flake). Blown at the Willington Glass Works, West Willington, CT, 1860-1873.

This superior example of a Willington "turkey neck" eagle flask was purchased froma knowledgable, long time collector with an eye for the "best." The flask exhibts great color, pleasing crudity and a mold impression that is as bold as can be. It is a truly great one!
