SCARCE GI-17 BALTIMORE GLASS WORKS WASHINGTON - TAYLOR FLASK

ITEM 10217. "WASHINGTON" / BUST OF WASHINGTON - "BALTIMORE GLASS WORKS" / BUST OF TAYLOR," (McK# GI-17), greenish aquamarine, pontil scar, pint, crudely sheared and fire polished mouth, an attic quality flask exhibiting some minor mouth roughness. Blown at the Baltimore Glass Works, Baltimore, MD, C. 1845, scarce.

Strongly embossed and free of wear, this is a top notch example of a well designed, early historic flask.
