GIV-19 KEENE, NH EAGLE - MASONIC FLASK - GREAT CLARITY

ITEM 10212 EAGLE / "KCCNC" - MASONIC, (McK# GIV-19), bright golden amber, pontil scar, pint, sheared and tooled mouth, mint. Blown at the Keene Marlboro Street Glass House, Keene, NH, 1820-1840.

With its far lighter than normal coloring and exceedingly bold mold impression, this top of the line Keene Masonic flask is a collector's dream. The distinctive "pinch" of glass to the right of the embossed oval is an intriguing result of the manufacturing process that lends the piece singularity.
