ITEM 10204. "WASHINGTON" / BUST OF WASHINGTON - "JACKSON" / BUST OF JACKSON, (McK# GI-34), golden olive amber, pontil scar, half-pint, shared and fire polished mouth, an undamged example exhibiting some scattered exterior wear. Blown at the Coventry Glass Works, Coventry, CT, C. 1840.

Although not technically a "rare" flask, the majority of GI-34 flasks one encounters are poorly blown and quite frankly unappealing. As a result, we rarely buy them. It is a treat then, to offer this much better than most example with relatively crisp mold detailing (better than shown) and good color that reads evenly from top to bottom. The flask is undamaged and it is a product of the Coventry, CT Glass House.
