Dealers Specializing in the Sale of Early American Bottles, Glass and Period Decorative Arts

ITEM 10024. CORNUCOPIA - URN, (McK# GIII-8), strong bluish aquamarine, pontil scar, half-pint, sheared and fire polished mouth, mint. American, probably blown at a New England Glass House, C. 1830, scarce color.

Of the relatively few aquamarine examples I have seen blown in this mold, all exhibit the bubbly glass and pebbly surface texture and seen here. The flask is a perfect specimen exhibiting no wear or damage and its unusual color makes it stand out amongst the olives and ambers more typically seen in New England made products.

Price: $395 plus shipping and insurance
