ITEM 0051. FREEBLOWN CREAMER, deep violet blue, squat body with shortened neck, tooled pour spout and applied solid handle with rigaree, pontil scar, 3 13/16"H, tooled mouth with pour spout, mint. Blown at a Pittsburgh District Glass House, 1820-1840.

Definitely attributable to a Pittsburgh Glass House (with an identical piece in the Ford Museum), this delightful little creamer is a joy to the eye and it would make a FINE addition to an advanced collection of American Blown Glass.
