ITEM 0032. UTILITY JAR, bright
olive green with profuse black striations, dip-mold cylinder,
pontil scar, 8"H x 4 1/4"D, crudely applied mouth,
mint. Probably American, 1820-1840.
It is the delightfully serpentine string of glass snaking about
the body of this jar that makes it a singular example of its
type.
