 ITEM DG51. "THE FATHER OF HIS COUNTRY" / BUST OF WASHINGTON , (McK# GI-47), bright medium green, iron pontil scar, quart, applied doughnut-style collar, a mint flask retaining some washable content residue. American, probably blown at the Lockport Glass Works, Lockport, NY, 1845-1855.

Fresh to the bottle market, we are proud to offer this superb, attic-quality flask in untouched, as found condition. Perfect as the day it was blown, this quart-sized beauty is as fine an example as you could hope to find and the lucky new owner will get the thrill of washing away 150 years of dirt and grime to reveal the true glory of the glass.
