BC28. "UDOLPHO WOLFE - SCHIEDAM
- AROMATIC / SCHNAPPS", yellow olive, square, sand chip
pontil scar, 7 7/8"H x 2 1/4"W, applied sloping collar,
a dug bottle retaining some minor exterior wear. American, 1840-1850.
This early Udolpho Wolfe's was pulled from a 20 foot deep hole
in Pittsburgh and it is a beautiful example with lots of bubbles
and a heavily "alligatored" surface.
